it's not the snow
nor the cold
nor the lack of sun

it's not the wind
nor the rain
nor the dead yellow grass

it's not the inside days
nor the outside toys
laying helpless under the snow

it's just that i want to go outside for a run

so maybe it is the sun
and the grass
and the toys outside

maybe it is the rain
and the snow
and the slippery roads

maybe it is pure and simple
just the fact
that winter sucks

it's long
and lonely
and boring
and slow
and full of snow

and i'm stuck inside
on my treadmill

I gaze out the window
at the blahness that winter be.
The ice cold and slush,
keep me inside.

But alas I have no treadmill,
so bliss be the expanding girth that winter brings

Loved it!! I did 4 miles on the treadmill at the gym b/c it was raining today! UGH! We desperately need the rain but I hope it doesn't rain for my 1/2 on Sat.

I totally agree. I can't wait to be done with winter. It does suck.

Great poem, btw. You rock. Like the queen of rock.
