has a thing for pens. we have several things that have been redecorated by our artist extraordinaire.
the latest is our couch.
i should take the blame for this. i left him unsupervised in an area where he could search out and find pens. i was down on the treadmill, and no amount of chocolate chips and dinosaurs can distract him from his true passion.
so, anybody know what takes pen off leather?

We too have some pen marks I need to get rid of. Baby wipes help a lot but someone told me about a leather cleaner that Target carries. I still need to look and try it.
Hair spray removes pen...well, you know, as much as it can...
I remember those days when my siblings colored every wall and surface in the house...so frustrating ha ha...don't worry, this stage will pass.
Hairspray works well as does the mr clean magic eraser.
I can remember when Ty went through a similar stage once she learned to write her name and then wrote it on everything in permanent marker.
I have an OLD can of hairspray (aerosol kind) I save just for that. It works great. I don't know how well the new hairsprays work. With all the changes for the environment, they are not the same.
Hey Meemer, I'm a blog-stalker-sister-in-law-of-Trish's. I saw your post and had to comment. One of my kids did the exact SAME THING to Lola's cream leather couches one time. I was devastated and got online immediately. Scrubbing plain old toothpaste into the couch took the pen right out (and it smelled minty fresh afterwards). Who would have thought it?
brilliant!
i used a magic eraser. it worked like...magic!
